2012 Candidate for House of Representatives committed to Women’s Rights

Friday, May 4, 2012 – The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) proudly re-endorses Congresswoman Gwen Moore as she runs for re-election in Wisconsin’s 4th District.  Congresswoman Moore, a member of Congress since 2005, is known for her commitment to public service and to the people of Wisconsin.

Dozens Face Layoffs as Train Company Leaves Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE– Dozens of Talgo employees are now out of work. The train maker company will close its doors and leave Milwaukee this summer.

This after Governor Scott Walker denied federal funding to build a passenger rail line from Milwaukee to Madison back in 2010. When the money left the state, Talgo decided to follow. Maintenance work will continue, but even that is now called into question.
